confused.

ok, well im a student in high school, and i live in kentucky, but my dads in the us army and our state of residence is still texas, where i was born, so im just wonderin would i still get in state tuition if i went to a texas university, and im african american so would affirmative action help me a little bit by getting into a university like university of texas at austin considering i only have one b on my report card out of my completely honors schedule and one ap geometry class? (p.s dont start the AA argument, ive seen that way too many times over the past week, smh.)

I think you’d have to go here: [Texas Residency | Be a Longhorn](http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/residency) and check it out. They have a quesionnaire about owning property/businesses in Texas and such. It sounds like you qualify for in-state (resident) tuition.

I’m pretty sure you’d get a full ride at Perfect Grammar University.

OHWAIT.

dude, youre lame. -______-

There are many military members who claim TX as a home state (primarily due to taxes). I doubt you would get in-state admission to UT.

I really don’t know the answer to your question, but I’d really like to say this: please thank your dad on our behalf of serving our country. It’s really honorable. Best of luck!

thanks addymithas ill make sure ill do that, and how would i not get instate if thats literally my actually state of residence, we pay texas taxes and everything
