I am studying electrical engineering from pakistan but i want to study computer science in harvard .Is this possible to apply in harvard and stanford as a transfer student after completing my engineering from here? or i should apply now as a transfer student? what are chances in both situations? please anyone tell me about that..

Harvard does not accept applicants for second bachelor’s degrees. You would have to apply as a transfer student now, or apply to the graduate school after completing your first undergraduate degree.

Thank you @happymomof1 excuse my troubling you, but i want to ask something more on that any other universities that would accept second bachelor’s degrees and what about stanford? and is extracirricular activities play a very important role for admission in harvard? and if i apply as a freshman now would they be rejecting my application because of gap?

CC is not the place to ask about transfer policies. You need to go to the college websites, they state all of their relevant requirements and policies.

Most highly selective colleges do not accept students for second bachelors. I’m assuming as an Intl. student you are targeting these schools because they offer FA to Intls., this plan won’t work.

Yes, after academics, ECs are important for any selective college.

You cannot apply as a fr if you have completed an UG degree. Whenever you apply to a college, you are required to send transcripts for ALL college coursework you have taken.
