So I was accepted to UF a week and a half ago, after putting down "Pre-Med" as my intended major which was listed in the drop down bar on the original application. However, today I received an e-mail welcoming me to UF Engineering... I don't think Pre-med and engineering would be associated with each other in any way? Should I e-mail them back to correct the mistake?

Pre-med is a track so you are going to have to pick a major. As of right now, it doesn’t matter where you are placed because you can easily change it at preview. You can probably email them and ask to be changed to one of the more popular “pre-med” majors (biology, psychology, nutrition, anthropology, micobio, and if engineering…MSE and biological are common).

I know that pre-med itself isn’t a major, but it was a selection on the UF application so I chose it for the sake of simplicity. Still confused on why they threw an engineering e-mail my way, but I’ll take it.
