Confusing Admission Letter Wording

The University of Pittsburgh letter I got says "you are also eligible to participate in the University Honors College" - does that mean I'm accepted into the honors college? It says later that "formal notification of your egilibity will be sent seperately."

What does this mean? Does it mean I'm in the honors college or are they still deciding, or are they just waiting to give the official yea? (I already got accepted to pitt itself it said)

Pitt doesn't decide UHC students until later in the year, although if you have the stats you're basically set. Good job bro =]

Thanks!!!!

When do they release UHC decisions officially? So you mean that I'm 'basically in' if it says that I'm 'eligible to participate in the honors college', though it's not an assurance yet.

Also, I had put down on my application that I was undeclared, but the other day I sent them an email saying I would like to change it to Pre-Law. The Admissions office emailed back and said ok they would put the change in major there and contact me if the office needed anything more from me. Does this mean they will re-consider my admissions application or just consider me for a Y/N to their guranteed law school admission program? Does anyone know?
