Confusing...

Hi there, I just received email from Dartmouth college with answer on my question, but now I am more confusing than before.

Hello.

Thank you for your interest in Dartmouth College.

Income and benefits statements are also required from employers. These statements should include the total amount earned in calendar year 2013, taxes paid (if known) and benefit allowances. Statements from employers must be in English or a translated copy must be attached. You may translate the information for us. Please be sure that the student's name and Dartmouth ID (if applicable) appears at the top of each page submitted. Submit information to the Financial Aid Office.

So, question is, why Financial Aid Office? We don't need fin-aid, my family just interesting how to complete Certification of Finance for international students. And what about employer? Its only from parents or also me, because I am working too, on full-payed job. Because I think that certification its only bank deposit statement with 65 000 $+

Thank you very much for helping!

If you are not seeking financial aid, I see no reason why you would need to submit any financial information. I expect the college did not understand your question. What exactly did you ask?

AboutTheSame

Hm, because I am an international student, I should submit Certification of Finance. But I really don’t know full requirements for COF. And this information only in Financial Aid, thats why i did’t pay to much attention about it, because we will pay for 4 years.

Some universities require this document for internationals, like John Hopkins or Purdue ( bank deposit statement with 65 000$+), but, for example Cornell wrote on his website that for college I need it only after acceptation letter.

Not sure about another Ivy League, thats why I wrote to Dartmouth College, because he has fast and good support team for internationals.

Thank you very much for helping !
