Confusion. Help, please.

Hello all,

I have been studying for the SAT using the practice exams from the college board book. I have been scoring well in all three sections, however, when I take the exams offered from the Kaplan book, my scores differ greatly. I score in a range of 700-800 in the writing (I give myself a default essay score of a 6/12); 650-700 in mathematics; and 600-650 in CR (from the college board book). But, from the Kaplan book, my scores fall between the range of 600-650 in Writing (still, a default of 6/12); 550-600 in mathematics; and a 500-550 in CR. I am extremly concerned because I do not want my scores to reflect my Kaplan practice scores (that would be really depressing). I just want to know, are the Kaplan exams generally made more difficult than the actual exam?

Kaplan seems to have a ton of errors (I know because when I took a Kaplan AP Calculus BC test, it was full of errors, basically a worthless test). Idk about Kaplan’s SAT, but you may want to check carefully for errors on their part as well as errors on your part.

kaplan tests are bad ( i did them weekly with a class)… i scored 200 lower than my actual test score a week after.

I would assume that college board’s own books are more accurate than Kaplan’s
