<p>Yale's SCEA deadline is nov 1. does that mean all those school forms must REACH them by Nov 1 or that these school forms must be post-mailed or DISPATCHED to them by Nov 1? plz help.</p>
<p>They aren’t going to toss your file in the shredder if some part of your app isn’t in after Nov. 1. Do the best you can. If it gets to crunch time and your file is still incomplete, they’ll contact your school. Believe it or not, they WANT to read your completed file, not toss you aside.</p>

<p>When you go to the post office to post your things, the officer stamps the envelope. This is called a postmark. 
It has the date on which you have posted the item and some information about the post office.</p>
