So, the reason I'm posting this is because I'm in search of a final school. I've spent a long time browsing potential schools, but I can never find a fit. I'm looking for a good match/safety school and my intended major is journalism. My other criteria:
-must have a journalism major
-private school, i can allow leniency with public school suggestions if you don't know of any privates
-east coast or eastern-midwest lol, not in west or western-midwest because I need a school closer to home
-not situated in a large city
-not overly religious, not predominately conservative

U Syracuse (don't know how your stats match up but it has good communications/journalism)

bump
10 char

Why do you feel you need another school? Syracuse is definitely a good suggestion, but your list looks alright to me...

I need another school because IMO I only have one good match/safety school, that being Albany. And I would like another one just in case I get rejected/don't get enough money from my other schools. Of course Albany is an inexpensive school and I would save a lot of money from going there, but I think I'm partial to the idea of attending.

And for Syracuse, it's deadline is 1/1, so I don't have enough time to apply (more specifically have my transcripts and other stuff postmarked by that date).

How about Marist, St. Michaels and Lynchburg. Good luck!

yeah i never considered it, but marist looks real good. the only possible flaw I can find is that according to princeton review, they hardly give out any aid/scholarships. thanks for the suggestion poi!

You might consider applying to Utica College. I believe that the degree you receive is actually from Syracuse U. and it has a decent journalism program. Also, take a look at Quinnipiac.
