Well, it could be that the mail was postponed, or you would have received it today maybe if not for the holiday, but I agree, you should try the phone system. Good luck!

up- just got the number on their website and called--the automated system dosen't tell you your admit decision, just if your app is complete or not----unless the e-mail was just complete bogus

I need to call them or something, but I'm a Louisiana resident and it makes it even weirder! I know that I'll get into Tulane (have gotten in...) because of their treatment of Louisiana residents, but I want my acceptance letter!!!

Nice to find that out fromdistantstar, thanks. Where did you get this confirmation? And did anyone's e-mail mention anything about scholarships. Someone at my highschool said his e-mail included a scholarship offer.

I live in Ohio and received the same email without previously having the acceptance letter. After emailing the admissions office, they replied with "Your acceptance letter is on the way". For awhile I thought that the email was bogus because it had an "org" address, instead of the "edu", but I guess it's a valid thing. Congrats to everyone who was accepted! You can now start shrieking again.

I got like 3 things from them today, but none of them was the actual acceptance letter. I e-mailed them and asked them to send it again b/c my school likes to keep a copy of acceptance letters...and I do too!

The sorry no DHS scholarship letter came to me and no indication of any other scholarships. Just referring to don't forget to file for financial aid. Guess that means no merit aid except on need.

I'm sorry it's all so confusing, but I can tell you from experience that surface mail just isn't normal yet. Sending mail IN is very slow, so I woud guess that sending it out is the same way for Tulane. Congratulations to you all and best wishes.

Not sure if this is comforting or not, but there was about a two week gap between my d's acceptance and notification of scholarship award. And there was nothing mentioned online or via email. So if awards are coming via snail mail, it just may take some time.
