I know this is late but be EXTREMELY careful with Connecticut College. Their finaid practices border on predatory. The removed my step family as household members my sophomore year and doubled my EFC from what they explicitly told me the calculations would be based off of when I enrolled. I ended up having to drop out in June after transfer deadlines and I was stuck without a school. When I had my meeting with the class dean when I withdrew she told me that I was not being truthful about my ability not to afford over 60k a year. I know other students who have had very similar experiences. This school is bad for middle class students. If you’re rich or very low income in a inner city then you’ll be okay but anyone in between be careful. Also most do not consider conn to be on par with the other nescac’s including the students who go to the institution. The professors are amazing and the offerings are good for the size of the school. You just have to know you can afford it.
