<p>Hey guys, I currently have a 33 ACT which I would like to raise a point or two. At the same time, I'd like to raise my writing score from a 7 to something more reasonable (thinking 10-12 if possible).</p>

<p>Does anybody know of a good "guide" to mastering the ACT essay? I've taken it twice and gotten a 7 both times; not sure what I'm doing wrong.</p>

<p>No one knows any books that help with the ACT writing or has any tips for it?</p>

<p>Well there’s a a theory going around that if you write 3.5-4 pages you’ll get an automatic 11 or 12. I got my personal proof - an 11 on the ACT June, 3.9 pages - to say the least it works.</p>

<p>I’ve gotten 11s on both the essays I wrote for my ACT by writing exactly 3 pages.</p>
