considering a 4th testing...

ok, so I've taken the SAT's three times thus far, the results being

Test 1: 750v 720m
Test 2: 740 v 730m 750w
Test 3: 690v 760m 740w

Well, the second and third testings I unfortunately didn't put too much studying in. I like my scores now, but I think I definitely have the dedication and time now to do a LOT better (potentially 800s in the math and writing). Now, will it look odd to colleges if I have taken the test 4 times? Will they start taking averages instead of composites? Will it be too late to send the results of these scores to colleges I have applied to RD? Please give me some feedback.

why the heck would you take another test?

if you break 2200, dont retake

I guess my motivation is that my disciplinary action really looks bad on the record, so I'm hoping to somehow balance it out with great sat scores. I'm talking 2350+.

Oh yeah, I'm looking to get into some of the super competitive schools.

only HYP will take jan test. the rest are dec.

if you think you can get 2350+, take it. but ur scores are already looking good. and stanford does best in each section, which will give you 2400.

2400? I wish :-P

I guess I'm good with taking them again if HYP accepts. I suppose I'll have to apply for one of them now...

yea just retake man. im also taking a test in jan for HYP

Good luck, how are your current scores looking?

o.

i got 2180 on my first sat, but got 2300 on this one. 750cr, 800m, 750w.

my sat2s are like 800/800/780 math2c/korean/physics.

i think i should take chem for my sat2 since korean isnt really a test.

wat a waste of a good score.

nice work on your scores. i just finished my registration, good luck everyone.

o man, i have to register too =</p>
