I'm thinking about applying to UCSD.

could anybody describe the school for me.

why is the school divided into 6 different campuses and what's the difference between them?

if applying which one should i choose?(list from bet to worst)

i've heard that the school is socially dead...what can you do for fun there since most of the people are like smart kids who won't stop for a day to have fun.

the dorms, how are they? if transferring, what kind of housing is available?

i've heard that all juniors and seniors live off campus is that true?

You can find most, if not all, of the info by using the search function. I think there's an exact replica of your "socially dead" question where astrina compiled a bunch of old threads just for that purpose.

"what's the difference between them"...."socially dead"...."dorms"......

reading this post hurt my eyes.

@ crestsoul - forum search tools are on the main page. or you could just go through all the posts i've made in the last three weeks; i estimate that's when i put up the list.

@ team.katie - but a mere five months ago, you were asking about the likelihood of getting admitted to college X and avoiding triples at muir. we all have to start somewhere. :)

astrina---thanks!!! i found this link in the transfer forum. i didn't know there was a forum for each university. thanks!!!

ps. thanks for that second underneath reply ;)

ah yes, my apologies to the OP. I suppose it is easy for me to forget that not everyone has collected the amount of insight about UCSD as i have.
