<p>Someone told me that selectivity was going to be dropped by US News this year as a factor in the rankings. I don't know if it's true though. That would explain why Princeton is still higher than Yale.</p>
<p>The top is always boring. The interesting changes happen starting with 25+.</p>

Next big event is mid Dec and that is not quite as much "fun" because real students are here with real parents and people are more careful because feelings are raw. This ranking and the discussion is much more fun.</p>

<p>Its completely obvious that schools don't change that much in the course of a year</p>
<p>however, usually the rankings do change a lot from year to year, and this year they didn't. </p>
