<p>Totally random, but I have to ask somewhere...</p>

<p>I'm getting contacts. They had to be special-ordered and I should be able to pick them up Monday. Now, for my questions:</p>

<li>What exactly do I need? I know that I need rewetting drops, a case and different sterilizers, but is that all?</li>
<li>As for sterilization, I read somewhere that cleaners that work as both lens case solutions and lens-cleaning solutions were recalled a few years back. So, in that case, do I need something for both contact lens sterilization and for keeping the case clean?</li>
<li>I read somewhere that the case needs to air-dry daily, and that water should be kept out of the case. Is that true?</li>
<li>Finally, I know you sterilize the contacts before you put them in, but what about when you take them out?</li>
</ol>

<p>Thank you! Obviously, I could present these questions on Monday, but I know that by the time I get the contacts, I'll be exhausted, and I'd like to know everything I can in advance.</p>

<p>There are many different kinds of contact lenses. You’ll get the best and most accurate information on how to care for your specific kind from your eyecare provider. He (or she) will tell you what you need to know when you go to pick them up and he checks to make sure they fit properly. You’ll probably get some free samples of cleaners and solutions too.</p>

<p>I use the Ciba clean care, saline to rinse, generic rewetting drops.</p>
