Hey all,
So I just wanted to know what you guys thought about the repercussions--admissions-wise--if one chose to start a "controversial club." I guess I would say that examples of a controversial club would be a pro- or anti- abortion club in your high school, a drug policy club, euthanasia club. Basically any club that is not totally mainstream. I already started one of these at my high school with no trouble, and I plan to continue to run it; I guess I just wanted to know if it would affect admissions--not that it would affect me (It sorta would, but still). I'm talking admissions at top schools, like Cornell, Yale, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Dartmouth, Penn, Brown, ect. Thanks for all your imput!!! I really appreciate it.

Just be who you are and do it with passion. If a school doesn’t like it, that school is not a good fit for you. Stand up for what you believe.
