Conundrum.

Should I take the full SAT in September and two subject tests in October or vice versa if I'm trying to apply early decision/action to a lot of colleges(some of which require subject tests). The reason I want to take the sat again is so I can raise my score so basically my question is will I get all of my scores back in time for the early application if I do one first versus the other?

Either or. You should check the colleges’ websites for testing deadlines.

Like for one of the colleges I’m applying to… ED is due Nov 1 but SAT/ACT scores aren’t due until dec 31… So can I just apply without scores or with whatever scores I have and then send them directly to the college whenever I get them?

Yes. When you take the SAT or ACT make sure that you send the scores to whichever colleges to avoid paying the $10 fee.

Alright cool. Thanks. In that case I’ll probably take the full SAT first because that way it’ll lessen the time between my last one and I’ll have more time to study for subject tests. Do colleges care how many times you’ve taken the sat? Because this will be my fourth but I’ve only sent 2 soon to be 3 scores to the colleges…
