Converting to GPA

I am a Junior in highschool in the US. I had my Sophomore year in India. I wanted to know how UC Berkeley will consider my Indian Marks which is in numbers. Will they ask me to convert it to US GPA? I tried a few websites and ended up getting a 4.0 for the sophomore year.

Can someone tell me if Berkeley (or other colleges) want me to convert them? If so how do I convert them? Will they use the same method as those website? Does someone know how to convert them?

NOTE: My Junior year will have US GPA, I only need to conversion for sophomore year.

Thanks!

Thank you guys.

You can’t rely on a forum to give you info like this. Email or call the school and get an answer. My guess is that no school wants you to convert your own grades. But I could be wrong.

The school will convert them. Here a 4.0 or an A begins anywhere from a 93 to a 95% and goes to 100%. An A+ typically is 99-100%
