Hey guys, so I got my SAT score back, and it was way below than what I thought it would be. I was expecting at least a 700, but it came out to be a 590, which crushed my motivation study (considering the fact that I also got a tutor). I took regular level chemistry last year, but didn't take the subject test then because I didn't realize how important it was. So I took it along with Biology in June (I'm definitely retaking bio in October). I might not even bother with chemistry again because it's just too hard to study for. I'm thinking about just taking biology, physics, and math II. Either that, or chemistry, biology and math II. Which option should I do? The first or the second? Help a poor guy out here. Thanks.

first off what math are you in? unless you have finished precalc, you have not shot in breaking 700 in math 2. Unless, you are willing to spend your summer learning the math. If you just finished alegbra 2/trig you should do math 1.

Well I meant next June for Math II and Physics because I’m taking those two classes (AP physics, Pre-Calc Level 1) next year.

^What kind of AP Physics? B or C?

My school doesn’t offer neither of those… just AP. Does that haven an affect on anything though?

bumpbumpbump

i took advanced chem this year and got a 640 on chem sat ii for june. i was also very disappointed…my parents and some friends convinced me to retake the chem sat in october again saying that i should accept the challenge of breaking the 700 barrier…i say go for it! best of luck!

houstonr: for reference, our school offers ap physics B and C, but the one that juniors will be taking is physics B. You can take physics C after taking physics B junior year

wait but we don’t HAVE to though right? I’m just gonna take ap chem senior year

yeah that’s fine
