I am gathering my documents to send into the IDOC and have made copies of tax returns, W-2s, etc. The requirements say that my mother's tax return must be complete and signed. However, she got her taxes done at H&R Block, electronically I guess, and so the copy of the tax return says, under Your Signature, "For Info Only-Do Not File." Does she still need to sign it somewhere? Or do we need to get a copy of the signed form? Thanks for all of your help!

I suspect that a photocopy of what she got back from H&R Block will do just fine. It says “for Info only, do not file” because they didn’t want her to mail that in to the IRS (because the same info had been sent electronically).

Does that make sense? Photocopy what you have, mail away and Good luck!

Thank you!!
