I have been researching through Cornell's website on which school would be suitable for me. I am mostly interested in majoring in marketing, so I guess the obvious answer should be to go through the Undergraduate Business Program which is under the Department of Applied Economics and Management, which is in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (that took me a while to figure out). It seems to me that I should apply to the CALS but what does business have anything to do with agriculture and the life sciences? Seems a bit misleading to me. Anyway, so I'm deciding between applying to the CALS or the School of Hotel Management, which interests me as well. What do you think is the better choice?

I was deciding between the two to apply to this fall as well. The only difference is I want to focus on finance. Either school you will get the skills necessary for marketing. You can take classes in Johnson school of management as well I think. Either one will be great. I decided I will apply to hotel, because it seems more hands on. I also hate biology with a passion, and it is a requirement for CALS, and I don't want to take a science SAT II, I already took history and math.

A science SAT II is not required, just recommended. My son was accepted to AEM without one. If you are a NYS resident, AEM is about $15K per year cheaper than Hotel.
