I got an e-mail yesterday from someone at Cornell saying they're missing my midterm report form. However, I'm positive I mailed it out weeks ago. Because our school is on a quarter system, we've just started a new quarter all together, and final grades for the previous quarter should be on our transcripts soon. Should I try to hunt dowm my TA's or professors from last quarter, and have them fill out the form again? Or should I send in a new transcript with the grades from last quarter? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, since I have to e-mail this person back soon.

its called making a fotocopy of the form, so this doesn't happen..

this is what I would do:

Print out the midterm report form and in the top section write "Please see attached official transcript" (to show your winter grades), then in the bottom section write the classes you're taking now. Providing an official transcript, i think, is just as authentic as getting signatures and grades from profs, but much less time consuming. You might want to check with Cornell about this approach, or maybe even email that guy.

that sucks, yeah i made a photocopy of my midterm grades. and i don't think TA's are allowed to sign the form...?

it DOES take time to process things, and most likely this is the case for you... did you take mailing time into consideration? it takes lik 5 days for something to arrive at its proper location for me...

if not, i guess you will have to go to your professors again =

Which college at Cornell are you applying to? And what major?

EE Guy - I'm applying to HumEc, for HBHS

Bball87 - Thanks for the advice kiddo, your brilliant insight is just too amazing for my mind to comprehend. We should all bow before thee, oh mighty PHotocopying one! Obviously I should have done that, but clearly didn't if I'm asking for advice on what to do. That said, yes, it was pretty stupid of me not to copy that form in particular. The rest of the app I made a backup for but, long story short, I rushed to send out the midterm report right after my profs filled it out.
