<p>OK since Cornell is HUGE I was wondering how the bus service is, where the buses go (do they stay on campus or go everywhere), and what % of students (aprox) have a car.</p>
<p>Also are bikes recommended? Is getting to class a big pain?</p>
<p>Buses are great, and they go all over Ithaca. It seems to me like almost nobody has a car, but I'm a freshman. More upperclassmen might have cars. I see a good number of people using bikes... I ended up not bringing mine and I've been fine. I'm not sure a bike would be a good idea for going uphill/riding in ice. Getting to class hasn't been a real pain, but that's also because I like walking.</p>
