Cornell CALS required course work QUESTION...Please help!

Okay, so I am planning on applying to Cornell CALS AEM for Fall 2008. Chemistry or Physics is not required, but recommended for that major. My school does not have a proper Chemistry or Physics class that would be sufficient so I have looked at other schools in my area to try and take one of these classes. Unfortunately, all of the schools either have no room left in the classes or just don't fit into my schedule...my registration ADD/DROP date for my school is over so I can't even attempt to switch my schedule around. I also have taken Statistics, which is another "recommended" course for AEM. My question is, will it be a problem that I have not taken this class, will it hurt my chances of getting in? Thanks alot.

did you consider taking summer classes at a different school? Thats what I did to cover some "required" courses. And I only had one of the two "recommended" writing courses and I still got in. and good luck, I transfered to Cornell CALS as a bio major and it was the best decision i've ever made!!

Thanks for your response. I am definitely willing to take summer classes but I just didn't think it would make too much of an impact on my application since I am applying for Fall 08. I do have all of my "required" courses done or in the progress of being done, just missing that one last "recommended" course. May I ask what your stats were?
