Cornell CAS

<p>If you apply to CAS and you pick a major on the Common App, are you considered specifically for that major or are all CAS applicants considered the same? I guess what I'm saying is.. are acceptances major specific, like if you applied for economics vs. film.</p>

<p>Admissions tries to determine how well you fit the program you're applying to, and accept/deny based on your statistics, and your fit for the program.</p>

<p>they are slightly about how well you fit the program, but for Arts and Sciences, in which the majority of applicants apply undecided, it is more of a numbers game than ILR, HumEc, Hotel, CALS, AAP</p>

<p>I would agree, but I don't if he has taken lots of social studies classes and has EC's in government, for instance, OP isn't going to be looked at seriously for an art program.</p>
