^^ What do you plan on doing with a degree in Human Development? Just wondering

I’d like to also get my pre-med requirements in while studying that so that hopefully I can go to med school and become a Pediatrician :)

hey does anyone have trouble checking their application status? i can’t seem to log in… like the page would never load I tried different browsers, too

@BioOrChem, the site seems to be down for everyone (see above posts).

its down for me too.

^It worked for me!! :)

Hey everyone! I’m new to CC but hopefully I can contribute to the anxiety before college admissions decisions :)

Welcome fellow stress being! You are now one of us…one of us…

Does anyone know what the acceptance/rejection emails look like?

hey did anyone get an envelope in the mail today that was hand addressed with information on their school/major? I got one and I rushed to open it (wishful thinking that it was acceptance letters). Just wondering…

I haven’t checked my mail yet but I’m hoping I did too!

Hi guys! I would like to open up the Facebook group that the EDers used while we waited for results. It might be helpful for you to scroll past the acceptance/rejection posts and look at all of our conversations and hopefully that might clear up some questions for you. Also, feel free to ask us any of your own questions. If you guys are as die hard big red as the ED applicants, I definitely recommend you all make a group of your own, but be warned! Rejection is not best experienced on a place like Facebook.

If you decide to go exploring, the group is here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/199729336830915/

@Lukelev07- I believe that an acceptance begins with “Congratulations…” and a rejection begins with “We’re sorry…” or something along those lines. There wasn’t any special banners across the page or anything for me. Also, if you see something regarding a “conditional acceptance” in the middle of the letter, it typically means a summer program, although that is quite uncommon.

I didn’t…hahah where do you live?

Anyone else having difficulties checking their application status online?

I haven’t even gotten the email to affirm that I sent my application sadness

@ilovetolaugh-Missouri. You?
@Catie1995-I had trouble logging in quite a few times but I haven’t checked since

New York…hmmmm oh well hahah I know all about my major anyway

Ah, help please! (:

I was just checking the online portal, and it showed my intended major under the school you’re applying to… which I realized I accidentally selected and it’s different from the major I wrote for in my essay. Is this going to affect me hugely? Should I contact them and let them know that it was a mistake on my part and ask to have the intended major changed to the one I wrote about in my essay?

The one I accidentally selected (I don’t even know how this happened) is quite far off from my real intended major.

uh yeah, that’s kinda a big deal.

^ Battlebrick, I just e-mailed the general Undergraduate Admissions contact info about it. Do you think it will suffice? Or should I try contacting someone else? If so, who else?
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I’m freaking out :/

I hope the best for all of you!
