OP, you said you were an asian male?
And I heard hotel school offered rolling “Decisions” so you will likely hear back either early or mid march.
Your 5 honor classes and 5 APs are very good.
Your GPA will definitely not help you but won’t exactly kill your chances either
Amazing SAT will benefit you
Your Boy Scouts will show good character
Your internships will show good character and will be good for you
Your volunteer work will also be great shows you’re a good person
Your job experience will also be good too
When looking at your application Cornell will mostly be looking at your:
GPA
Standardized Tests
Recommendations
Essay
Extra Circulars
Who you are and your character (volunteering helps)
They also do look at but not as seriously at:
Class Rank
They do look at but don’t care as much about:
Ethnicity
First generation to go there
Relations to alumni
Cornell will love your SAT score as you are on the higher end of all admitted students their average is 2120 yours is a lot
Your GPA will not help and might way you down a bit your classes will partially make up for it however
Your EC’s I didn’t see much of your Boy Scouts will be good
Your volunteer work and internships and paid work will be helpful
A solid/amazing essay will be amazing for you and could make or break it
Again Cornell has the best hotel school and has the lowest acceptance rate
But I’d say you have a pretty good chance and will most likely be accepted
I’m sorry I had some spelling errors ^^
*weigh
And I meant to say yours is a lot higher not yours is a lot
