@aBitOfLuck Can you clarify what you mean by new achievement?
@rik123 I mean winning a major tournament of some kind, winning a science fair, publishing an article, etc.
Yeah, and when/how do they let you know about spring admission? Because I said I’d be interested in spring admission.
@margottenenbaum1 - If you get rejected, but allowed spring admission I’d imagine it’s within the same letter.
@rik123 supplemental documents are not a big deal and should usually only be sent by students who were ED deferred. Even then, you should only send one and should keep it to a page or two max. Resumes should, however, be usually sent as sometimes, you can’t fit everything on the commonapp.
If I’m SHA and I submitted my resume along with an additional letter of Rec is it more or less frowned upon?
My D got in!!
She is so excited. Thought we would need to wait until ivy day
@AwesomeSoz How did she find out…
@AwesomeSoz I would really like to know as well
I got deferred Ed and I submitted a supplement just stating that Cornell is still my first choice :)>-
@rhdhtai Oh, I should have called the human ecology department. Hope we have chance. I was really devastated when I got deferred.
@CCSenioritis Hey. Saw you in ED forum. See you here again. Best luck~
@efebrkn i am also an international student and didn’t receive a LL. I am so anxious! I anyway think I won’t get in, my stats aren’t amazing
@imansoor14 I think an international applicant getting an LL is really VERY rare, so don’t lose hope!
I am also an international applicant btw xD
@rhdhtai Is that true? Cornell doesn’t reject ANY ILR or HEC applicants in the ED round - they just defer them? I never heard that before, very interesting!
@desie1 That’s not true, not sure where they found that information.
when will they release decisions? March 31 or April 1?
March 31 @efebrkn.
Apparently two of my Friends who received the diversity likely letter got an email that decisions are going to be released this week. Probably Wednesday or Thursday. They have never been wrong about admission decisions being released, even for the most inconspicuous release dates.
Is anyone planning on going to Diversity Hosting? And if so, when?
