Is this the Brown thread all over again?
@Californian10 I live in SoCal too and got it at 7:20 am PST
I think maybe it went to California first and just went right @-) pretty sure it doesn’t mean anything
@soorvora so do you think the kids who got accepted by Cornell already got their letters and the kids who’re waiting for the 31st are just the suckers who got rejected?? Ugh I stress myself out so much
@pianoir I think your speculation is highly proabable.
deleted b/c it was a bit harsh but you guys are being ridiculous about these theories if you really think that they left all rejections for Ivy Day.
There are folks in this cc who are interested in coming up with speculations based on various clues and draw their own conclusions. If that’s what they want, just let it be. When the final decisions arrive, they will fulfill their own dreams.

Does anyone know if the ILR school has released acceptances on Ivy Day in years past? It seems like the only applicants who were accepted received an early notification.
Retweet @CCSenioritis ditto for the release time of this morning’s email.
I got the email and pretty sure it means nothing. I am super average and there’s no way I am getting in.
I think @pianoir’s speculation may have some grounds otherwise the question would not be raised…
There’s no way everyone who has gotten in has already been notified. There is ample evidence that people get in in spite of not getting a likely letter or any communication. The stress and anxiety are real, but I would say it’s not a good idea to try to read into things. It’s just makes it more stressful. I’m sure you have all worked very hard and have bright futures ahead if you continue to work hard, at Cornell or somewhere else. Hang in there. It’ll be onto more fun things once this week is over.
The only people who have received notification of admissions are those who were admitted through ED, and those who were sent a LL or diversity letter. @pianoir 's speculation is absolutely not true.
ALL I WANT TO DO IS GO TO CORNELL NEXT YEAR
Maybe @pianoir is under tremendous stress and lack of confidence about the decision.
Can somebody tell me what all this madness is about? What is this about twitter and emails? I am so confused.
I can not speak for ILR…but for all SHA applicants… I have spoken to 2 separate SHA admissions counselors and they have both confirmed that there WILL be acceptances on Ivy day in addition to rejections/waitlists/gt transfers
@rocky789 We were pointing out flaws within his ridiculous speculation not his personal life involving stress/confidence etc. Don’t stoop to that level.
@CCSenioritis I just try to be understandable why people may raise those speculations. There is no need for you to say “ridiculous speculation” and make it hard on him.
