<p>Being a black male helps, but your GPA is really low and so many competitive people apply to A&S that the AA benefit decreases greatly with the GPA because as far as admissions knows, that could be a reflection on your work ethic. If you can’t get a high gpa in high school, how will you do in college? So Cornell would be a high reach. </p>
