So Cornell Days start this week and I'm pumped. I plan on going thursday, friday, and next friday. Any events particularly recommended? I'm ILR 2015 so I was planning on going to their events in particular.

Good to know you’re pumped!

Check out the Cornell Days website: [Cornell Days | Admitted Students](http://admit.cornell.edu/visit-Cornell/cornell-days/)

Here’s an interactive calendar for everything that will be going on: [Events | Admitted Students](<a href=“Events | Welcome to Cornell University”>Events | Welcome to Cornell University)

I’d definitely recommend having lunch with the ILR Student Ambassadors and attending the main ILR Info Session.

Thanks, I went through the calendar but it seemed like the same events were offered every day, so I was wondering if there were any real standouts. I’m planning on going to the lunch, information session, and the meet ILR professors event along with some general Cornell events.

what exactly is the red carpet society? do they assign an entirely random person for your overnight stay?

it would be nice if they assign somebody from your major.

It’s not entirely random; you have to be approved to host before you can actually do so. I’d expect that it would be difficult to assign people those with matching majors because 1. Some majors have very few people and 2. Many prefrosh are undecided.

^ It’d be nice if it were the same school, though. I’d love to talk directly with an ILRie.

i just hope i won’t get lost or waste good time during my short visit. i’ll walk around the studio time to time to see if i can spot you eheh.

Though the ILR events are somewhat lacking in variety, the other events around campus will let you meet a bunch of admitted students (certainly some who are in ILR), as well as the students helping to run the event (like myself), some of which will be in ILR

def. do the ILR lunch thing. I did this when I was a student and it was always a great time. And don’t focus on doing everything ILR, look at the more general Cornell events too.

It’s impossible to get lost here It might be a bit overwhelming at first, but you will love the campus :)
