Cornell Days is so much fun (and a busy time for me, because the ambassadors run it). when i was a prefrosh, i used cornell days as a time to meet everyone i was talking to for 5 months. sign up if you can!

Definitely try to go. Talk to as many students as you can - everyone is really friendly and I guarantee 99% of them will want to gush about how much they love cornell. If you have any older friends here or random connections in general (like your aunts neighbor's nephew that your mom keeps telling you to call but you'd feel way to awkward and weird to actually get in touch with) DO IT. It feels really weird at first, but they will most likely take you in and show you the "true" cornell (whatever that means for them). Cornell days is a great event, but those connections are what give you the most realistic experience. When I went a girl I really vaguely knew took me around to a few parties, and it was the most fun I had had to date (now its my night 3 times a week). I stayed in a hotel so I wasn't being hosted and didn't have to follow any of the no frat no drinking rules, though I know people who were in the official system and went out anyway.
In any case, its a great way to get a taste of what the next 4 years will be like and meet people in your class. I'm still friends with a a bunch of the people I met that weekend.

can cornell students provide more information?
how long is the program, and where exactly do you stay during the visit?
and approximately how many students show up every year?

u can stay as long as you want, i think most people stay one night though
Activities last for like 2 weeks and they have specific events for ur college, financial aid, etc
You stay in current students dorm in north campus if you dont have a hotel w. parents
And A LOT of kids show up :)
