cornell decision email: wrong submitted date?

Tonight, we dine in hell!

My teacher told me I need to read a book during break, so I downloaded Fahrenheit.451 like an hour ago, and im watching that :)

haha.. i like the 300 quotes..i just made a warmup cd for my volleyball team and I remixed THIS IS MADNESS THIS IS SPARTA into a techno song. haha it is pretty sweet.

2:34 for life

2:56:00 here. Haha.

Said by me: "Accepted students, PLEASE RESPOND! Tell us if you have a submitted time, and if you do please tell us what it is!"

Said by afro_ninj4: "wow bing, why would accepted students recieve an email about the status of their application telling them how to check their decision which they already recieved"

Said by mmelon: "Submission Status: Submitted
spacer Submitted Date: 3/24/2008 2:04:00 PM E.S.T.

I got in. (Hotel school... they sent me a letter)

hope that helps."

Just goes to tell you that you can't use logic with college admissions.

lighthunt, I got in. The letter says "Congratulations bla bla bla... we wanted to be the first to tell you... you'll get other stuff later"

How about this... everyone post their last names. I'm betting there's a bigger chance a correlation in that/time than acceptance. ;)

the name theory= disprove 40 some odd pages ago

dtop im in the 1:05 with u, i think i have about a 50/50 but i feel pretty good about this...

before posting any new theories u must read the entire thread first because we have already tossed out a lot of the more common ones

trackdude, nice to see another 1:05'er. I was deferred ED, and my stats arent great (very low GPA, 31 ACT), and I applied to CALS. I have a letter of rec. from a associate dean of CALS, so that is what I'm really going for here. I also have VERY relevant EC's to my major (Communications).

We'll see. My shots aren't great, but I think they're there.

dtop i think there is a likely in our 1:05 midst also...

Haha, now we can only hope that everyone with the same time has the same decision.

12:26 = the bomb =), ive only been on the 12:26 team a few hours but im kinda proud. If 12:26's get into Cornell, i think we would eat a meal together one day or somthing :P

12:26 (2290 SAT 740 M/770 CR/780 W) (Top 1% in class, Decent EC's)

yeah trackdude
I got the likely and I am a 1:05 as well.

1:05
1.lighthunt
2.dtop
3.trackdude410

ya lets make 3 groups.12,1,2 and have a big race.we 2.34 are spartans

how about you and your friends versus 2:34 and the revolution.

The Green Revolution!

Hey, new data here:

Submitted Date: 3/24/2008 1:28:00 PM E.S.T.

I'm an international and I guess I have "sub-par" stats for an international (So, I'm guessing I have about 60% chances of getting rejected)

Edit: I forgot to tell I applied to the CAS

Does anyone have any statistics about how many people from each major Cornell has accepted in the past???
