Cornell Dyson/CAS Transfer

I'm considering applying to Cornell's Dyson School as a transfer student from Georgia Tech, and I was wondering if any statistics existed on the stats of the average transfer student. Also, this may be kind of a back-door tactic, but is there a major difference in the acceptance rates of CALS AEM and CAS Economics? I feel like both programs would be a great fit for me, and I would be happy in either one.

Also, I noticed on an stat sheet from a few years ago (<a href="http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000156.pdf">http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000156.pdf</a>) that the transfer acceptance rate of CAS (7.53%) was a lot lower than the acceptance rate for CALS (46.83%). I was under the impression that Dyson had a lower acceptance rate than the rest of Cornell, so this seems odd to me. The only explanation I could think of (aside from my initial assumptions about Dyson being plain wrong) is that guaranteed transfers are very skewed towards CALS (all of them going to CALS rather than CAS), or there's a huge discrepancy in the rigor of the admissions process for the different programs in CALS (Dyson accepts far below the average for CALS, and the rest of the college accepts much more). Or maybe it's just way easier to get into CALS as a transfer, and way harder to get into CAS as one. If anyone could enlighten me on this, it would be a huge help.
