Cornell ED admit, final financial aid, Help!

<p>my friend was admitted in december and enrolled shortly afterwards, he got a rough financial aid award but never a finalized one. Hes called the office and emailed them numerous times (10-20 ea) over the last two months for a finalized award. He's send in all the documents; forms, FAFSA, 2005 1040s, everything, tho on his admitted website, it always says it will be done "shortly"</p>

<p>they say the ED admits are reviewed after all the RD admits</p>

<p>he is really anxious now because its time to apply for loans, plus interest rates are changing... is anyone else having the same problem, and is there a way to speed things up? Is there someone to talk to beside the FA office?</p>

<p>the same thing is happening with my S. we have called several times looking for the finalized finaid. they keep saying its coming and they will put a rush on it. our info has been in since feb. i hope to hear soon or i'll be calling yet again!!!</p>

<p>i called once and they said that our forms weren't proccessed (even though we submitted them a while ago), called again a month later and they said it would get to us in about a week, called a third time two weeks later (about a week ago) and they said it was already sent in february. my mom called the next day and they said they were resending it, but who knows...</p>
