Cornell Fall 2017 Transfer

Just got my PIN for CAS! My decision is tomorrow 5/2 at 10am. Does anyone know if this is normally an accept/reject day??

Alsoooo is it 10am EST?

@lbmoney when was your app sent for review?

Net ID is assigned once you accepted. If you have it congrats :)))

@jojowetzz

@iluvrunning But did you end up getting the email to set up the PIN? Just wondering how I can avoiding constantly trying the PIN trick, lol.

I’m quite confused because I thought Cornell CAS reviewed apps on a rolling basis. My app went in for review the first week in April and I do not have a pin but some of you guys already have pins even though your apps went in for review mid April. I don’t know whether to think that this is bad or good for me.

it works for me too …

but still no pins.

@jojowetzz honestly I don’t know the exact date, I didn’t start obsessively checking the portal until recently. But I started checking like 2 weeks ago so at least 2 weeks ago, maybe earlier. I applied on 3/14 as well!

Same here @ShwiftyPugs

CALS Applicant still pinless @trynamakecollege @VaishS anything from you guys?

oh boy…just did the PIN trick and it said, “An email with a link to reset your password has been sent to your email address. Please follow the link in the email to proceed.”

Such a strange feeling to get the same result for 1000+ times and then finally get a different response. Looks like I’m getting a decision tomorrow.

I applied to CAS in case anyone is wondering.

Password reset. Just got this message: “Your decision will be viewable on 5/2/2017 at 10:00 AM”

Lol didn’t anybody apply to transfer to Columbia? Is there a thread

@ShwiftyPugs I bet some admission’s officers review apps faster than others. So it’s still probably rolling based on when they go through but subject to the speed of the person reviewing and the speed of the person who offers their “second look” etc…

are all the CAS people finally getting pins? I still don’t have one. Feels like bad news.

I’m CAS as well…still nothing…although the meal plan thing worked lol.

Did anyone apply to Human Ecology? If so, did you hear anything/got anything from them? Also, would anyone happen to know what the HumEC acceptance percentage for transfers is (the stats for non-GT transfers would be ideal)? I found some stats from 2011 but I doubt they are a good reflection of the current cycle…

Just curious but have any transfer applicants been waitlisted? Is that even a thing for transfers?

Since there are rolling decisions and there are still a few weeks left you most likely would not be getting waitlisted yet unless you applied to a small program. I know that some other schools do have waitlists for transfers, but I don’t know about Cornell specifically
