How do you guys when the decision is available ?
It says that decisions come till the middle of may! https://meetezra.admissions.cornell.edu/index.php?responseId=1663&typeId=3
Does CALS accept by major? Like, do they have different slots?
@Boroboro I think they do. Did anyone here apply for biometry and stats?
@anon6282 thanks for that link! I thought it was April-June, so that was a nice surprise to read!
If the financial to-do list status is ordered, what does that mean?
@krystalee it seems like you will be receiving a decision on Tuesday and may have possibly gotten in! What are you applying to and are you GT?
@krystalee I heard it is a good sign that you are getting accepted! This is what I have read from this site tho so take it with a grain of salt! But I am excited for you somehow! Are you a GT? What school and major are you applying to? Also, when was your application sent for review? Sorry btw for asking a lot.
I think they updated it since my transfer transcript comes up as ordered too! I checked my email using the pin trick, but it says theres not a pin associated. I’m a GT and submitted most of my materials in early March. I submitted my midterm report in early April and my checklist was updated on April 9 showing they got it… Pretty nervous!
@bambujr8 wow! Thank you for letting us know! It could possibly be a good sign! I think you should find out by Tuesday since you are a GT! Good luck <3
I am so sorry to ask this, because I know it was mentioned before, but how do I check if my Financial Aid application went from “initiated” to “ordered?” When I access my “Financial Aid To Do List,” it just states “No current to do item information found,” I am applying to CAS, if this helps in any way. Good luck to everyone! Thank you so much for your help!
@Happyface1998 It would show up if you applied for financial aid… usually it would say the financial aid form you submitted and next to it, it would say either “initiated” or “ordered”
@bambujr8 Thanks for the reply! That`s weird though, because I did apply for Financial Aid, and on my CSS profile, it states that it was submitted…
Same thing for me @Happyface1998 I’m applying to CAS, applied for financial aid, and it gives me the same message. I sent an email to the admissions office about it (asking if I need to send any extra documents etc…). They replied that they’re sending all transfer applicants an update next if their application is missing any documents, and they’ll give us some time to submit the missing stuff.
Are you international applicants? Because if you are then they won’t ask for the IDOC documents
@jerrythemoose Yes, I am an international applicant. Is this the reason, why the “initiated” or “ordered” sign does not appear on my portal?
Good luck everyone!
@Happyface1998 Financial Aid for international applicants is need-aware… every international Cornelian I have known did not apply for aid…
@yanlaodun I mean I did, so I just hope for the best! Good luck to you too!
Hey everyone, just out of curiosity what was the main theme your “Why Cornell” essay?.
