My midterm report was checked off today but my college transcript that I sent over a month ago is still not checked off. I guess the hard copy materials take longer to sort out process.
@Boroboro when did you submit your midterm report and how?
@daidai16 Thanks. I called them and they said I can upload the college report using submit supplemental material page, but in the transfer admissions website they want to receive the college report by mail. What is the best course of action here?
Have someone from your registrars office send it with a cover sheet
Fax it^
FYI applications do not have to be complete on the portal for them to start reviewing…
Any ideas about when decisions will be released? I’ve heard answers that are all over the place
It depends on the school you’re applying to
@idekidc I submitted it via: https://forms.admissions.cornell.edu/webform/admissions/submit.php around 20th of March!
@mohamedali0923 Follow what Cornell told you on the phone today. They honestly allow you to send documents in numerous ways that aren’t listed on the transfer admissions website, just depends if an officer there gives you permission to do so.
@KG5APR True to an extent. Cornell told me that they will not review applications which have missing high school transcripts.
Thank you, @Boroboro !
Does anyone know if they can review and decide on an application if the midterm report is still not checked? My file was sent for review the 27th.
Just FYI, the students given the “Transfer Option” for the class of 2021 (who applied last year) get priority over regular transfers and depending on how many spots are left- not filled by the TO’s - then regular transfer students will fill if you are qualified. Also, those given the Transfer Option “normally” find out first in mid-April then in May-June regular transfers will be given their decision. Best of luck to all!
@SnatchCat okay wait. I’m TO, but my midterm report’s not checked yet… is it likely I’ll find out next week?
Releases possibly starting on the 10th then the next wave on the 17th etc.
When do you guys think we will start hearing decisions? I submitted my application on 01/10.
I have 3 things missing: HS transcript, college transcript, and mid-term report form :(( Sent them at the end of February. I’ll definitely have to call them Monday or email.
@Shagunbali I emailed them yesterday and this is the response I got:
Thank you for your email. We are currently processing and receiving a very large volume of transfer application materials. Please note that upon receipt of your application and supporting documents, it can take a few weeks to process your application materials.
At this time, we ask that you not send duplicate copies of your application materials. We will notify you in early April if we are missing materials from your application and will provide you with an opportunity to submit those materials.
Thank you,
Undergraduate Transfer Admissions
@hihi02 Okay that makes sense. I’m just getting super worried and praying they have them [-O<
@snatchcat wait so iffff the spot is filled by TOs then it means we have 0% chance? T____T
