<p>Is there more financial aid available to undergraduates in the privately contracted schools as opposed to the publicly contracted ones? I know that the tuition is less in the public schools, but I am unsure as to whether there are less resources for financial aid due to the state/public nature of these schools.</p>

<p>the only difference that's taken into account is the cost difference when looking at financial need. Obviously one wouldn't get the same amount if they were a NY State resident in one of the contract colleges since they don't have to pay as much for tuition.</p>
