Cornell hotel admin.....experience means what???

<p>hey everyone. i'm applying to hotel adm. and was wondering what my chances are if I have NO experience in the hospitably industry. I have experience in my family-owned business, but other than that...nothing. </p>

<p>I have the grades/ECs, etc. but I don't know how much this would hurt me if I don't have any experience in hospitality. </p>

What industry is your family business in? Cornell especially looks at fit since they want to make sure you aren’t just applying to the easiest school.
