Cornell Hotel School Interview -- the questions they ask

Thought everyone that has gone through this process could contribute the questions that they were asked to help any future applicants, as I know this would have helped me greatly.

With my off campus alum interview the guy read straight off a sheet provided to him by Cornell; anyone with an alum interview from the hotel school should get these exact same questions. Here are all the ones I remember:

1) What hospitality experience do you have and what did you do in these positions?
2) What challenges in your workplace have you faced and how did you overcome them?
3) Tell me about some of the extracurriculars you participate in.
4) How will you contribute to Cornell; both the university as a whole and the hotel school specifically?
5) What will you do if you are not accepted to Cornell Hotel School?
6) What draws you to the Hotel School?
7) What are your career goals and how will the Hotel School help you achieve them?
8) What do you read outside of school?

That’s all I remember after my off campus interview today. Anyone who has had a Cornell Hotel School interview please add the questions you recall to the list. I'm sure it will be a great help to future hotelies.

wow, thank you so much, anyone else?
