My D is seriously consider about Cornell Hotel School.
She is junior now.

SAT 2350
SAT II - 770 Bio + 790 Math II + 720 Chem
Will take 5 AP tests May 2009.

What kind of students Cornell is looking for?
An outgoing personality?

a person with EC's in the hotel/hospitality industry especially

Lol nd09, was that a joke?

I forget, is Cornell's Hotel School actually Cornell's undergraduate business school where they teach management, etc. Or is their business school something else.

Its strictly HOTEL management. So if she is into running Hotels, then she should go for it.

you need hotel experience.

and no, cornell has AEM. that is their business program

it's not strictly hotel mgmt - you can choose to emphasize on hospitality, cuisine or hotel mgmt, i believe.

Check out the hotel schools website for the curriculum requirements. It's a solid business program with a hospitality twist. There are several business related programs at Cornell, but the accredited business school is the AEM program within CALS.
