I am curious as to what kind of jobs someone with a degree in Industrial Relations would recieve upon graduation. I have done some independent research and found that many people go into HR work.

1.) What exactly is HR? And what kind of work does it entail?
2.) Could I work for a law firm or go into law with a degree from Cornell ILR?
3.) I have heard that Goldman Sachs recruits from ILR. What kind of job would one do at Goldman Sachs with a degree from Cornell ILR?
4.) Do students enrolled in ILR dorm with students in other schools of Cornell?
