ILR Career and Internship Opportunities

I am thinking of applying to ILR in the fall. The curriculum looks really interesting and flexible. Hoping to find a senior or graduate to answer my questions. I want a career in business but not sure what area. I heard that ILR has great career services, placements and internships. Anyone know how many students get placed in jobs outside of human resources? I know that I am not interested in that area of business. It seems that you can explore a lot of opportunities. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions. Also does anyone know about the business minor that will be available.

This should help

around a third of grads get jobs in consulting/f500/banking so it’s not impossible. Career services in ILR are great if you want an HR, union or other labor job - so you’d only really benefit from it by doing things like mock interviews or resume critiques or other personal help.

That said, if you know for sure you want a business career you should probably just apply to AEM or even the econ major. ILR will require you to take a bunch of classes in labor relations and HR that you probably won’t love…
