<p>I know many friends who transferred between schools, and really, if you just fulfill the requirements (doing well in your future school's classes, fill out the paperwork, etc) then you should be fine. I would read up on this website and then contact them with any questions.
I don't know anyone specifically who transferred to engineering, though.</p>
