<p>This had been my first college semester everything went well I took 6 classes this first semester coming out to be 18 credits I got an A in every class except Biology I ended up with a C...I am looking at doing a transfer next fall to one of the following schools mentioned above...what are my chances with a 3.55 GPA currently and looking to raise that up by achieving a 4.0 next semester </p>

<p>I am thinking of a philosophy major or a romance language major currently to apply for as a transfer </p>

<p>I do as well have a lot of EC's </p>

<p>Hey TomsrofBoston, my college as well takes in account for credits in the gpa say a 4 credit course is weighted higher than a 3 credit course on your transcript </p>
