I realized a bunch of people are mentioning they received likely letters in the Cornell 2022 RD thread. I received one too, so I thought we might as well have a thread to talk to each other. How many of you guys are confident you’ll attend Cornell? I’m still waiting for other decisions, but it seems pretty likely I’ll end up at Cornell.
I received a likely letter for CS in the CALS. I also was accepted to UC Davis and UC San Diego but I am waiting for Berkeley. Rejected by UCLA. If can get good financial aid I will most likely go to Cornell. I’m visiting next month for the Diversity Hosting and then I’ll have a better idea.
Hey, cool to see that a thread for this was made. I received the Tanner Dean’s Scholar likely letter from the CAS (the snail mail copy came today so I’ve dismissed all paranoia that it was a fluke lol). Cornell is one of my top three schools in the first place, so I’ll likely end up attending. I’ll know for sure whether or not I am by April 1st, though.
Were “likely” letters limited to certain colleges–SHA and ILR–is what is listed in the 2017 thread?
Heyy I got the letter from CAS too! And I’ll also have to wait until April 1st for decisions. What other colleges that you a applied to are you guys still interested in hearing back from? For me it’s Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia and mayybe also Duke and Brown (although I’m not too sure if I prefer them over Cornell).

@CSinPA I got the Tanner Dean’s Scholarship and I’m an asian, so probably not diversity
I got a likely letter for diversity. Super psyched, because the same week I had also gotten into Hopkins and WUSTL. Cornell admission is super encouraging, but before making any decisions, I want to see the rest of my ivy day results, as well as Duke and Stanford. Feels great to have the stress taken off. @CSinPA the letter would’ve said diversity if it were for diversity. I don’t think they count white/middle eastern
I got a likely letter for Women in Engineering! So stoked, especially since Cornell’s one of my top choices so I’ll probably end up going. Hope to see you all in the fall!
Did any one receive their FA package?
I’m still waiting on my formal acceptance package. And I’m from NYC so I’m hoping it’s coming soon since the email stated it was in mail. Anyone else waiting, or received already? Just curious
