I think they're more bidding for easily corruptible prefrosh than for dinner dates.

he's talking to me...

and i hope "chill" doesnt mean being hostile to open minded folk...

No, Resurgam, "chill" meant laid-back, open-minded, yet not open-minded.
If that makes sense.

Red Carpet Society sounds like it's going to be pretty goody-two-shoes but w/e.
Can you schedule a visit for a weekend?

I think it's just Monday-Thursday.

Wow... that sucks.
That means missing school, 5 AP's and Chinese won't be easy to miss.

Yeah...it's inconvenient...but totally worth it :-)

man...I miss Cornell like woah

I did RCS and loved it. My host was way too stiff/proper. But her roommate was pretty chill, so I liked her more. Yeah. My only thing was that it was a bit odd considering that I was a non-student and really couldn't introduce myself without people going "Awww, prefresh!" and asking my host if I could follow them around.

I stayed with a host through the Red Carpet Society last fall and she was so much fun, as were her friends. She actually did take me out to a frat party, and then I stayed with her again for a weekend during Cornell Days. Her friends took me out then and we had a really good time. I think it just depends on who you get as a host because they can be kicked out of the Society for taking prefrosh to parties so some are more respectful of the rules than others. I would give it a shot, and just keep your mind open. Don't expect to go to party, but don't pass up the offer if it's available. Also, go on a Thursday. People are more chill towards the end of the week with the weekend approaching and there are some parties and I would guess, just more activity in general later in the week.
