Cornell Score Choice and Writing Section

Hi! So I am dying to go to Cornell ILR and have a few questions about submitting my scores to them. I got a 34 composite on the ACT in April (36 english, 33 math, 33 reading, 32 science). But, I got a 22 on the writing section. Do they require the writing section? Will this hurt me? I’m going to get it reevaluated, but even so? I’ve been hearing that schools are not taking the ACT writing section in 2016 so seriously because the ACT changed it and the new scoring does not make sense. I mean i got a 36 on english and have an A in english class at school. Also, I took the ACT twice before getting a 34. I took it in September and got a 30 and in February and got a 29. Does Cornell require me to send in my lower scores from different test dates? Also, should I take the SAT subject tests for ILR? Will it help me or does it not really make a difference?

Does anyone also know if Northwestern, UPenn, U of Michigan, Duke, and WashU require me to send scores from ALL the ACT tests I have take this year? Do any of those schools require me to do the SAT subject tests on top of the ACT?

I had the same deliema, you can find online that this happened a lot. Most of the time the rescore comes back higher, but you should be fine.

thanks!
