Cornell Transfer Fall 2021

did they specify Tuesday for a specific college though?

No, I just asked generally so Iā€™m assuming it isnā€™t going by college. I could be wrong though

Gotcha, @confetti01.

And just some FYI since Iā€™m talking with Katy Lemon - Associate Director of Admissions in the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

  1. The portal may stay open a bit beyond April 15 => submit your supplemental materials by that date to be on the safe side.

  2. The review itself is a lengthy process. So it is okay if additional items come in after the process begins. The team will receive a notification stating a new document has been uploaded to the portal.

  3. The application review does not happen simultaneously. One person reviews the application and then at least one more person reviews it after the first review is complete.

I have the same question. Where can we find the financial aid checklist?

My choose file has a new option ā€œwaitlist correspondenceā€. Does everyone have this? Does this mean I get waitlisted?

I have that option as well.

I have that option too! Not sure what it means though.

I have it too think itā€™s just updated for everyone i guess?

Itā€™s for freshmen

my financial aid checklist keeps getting disabled and then opens upā€¦ maybe they are doing updates, no clue. I just want the ā€œOrderedā€ message to come thro so bad

has anyone checked transeval.cals.cornell.edu?

apparently in other threads it has checked if youā€™re in or not

which threads and how?

itā€™s on both the fall 2020 and fall 2019 transfer threadsā€¦

apparently you can log in with your applicantID info?

log into what?

reading further to the other threads, i think this is how it goes:

  1. when your decision nears, visit https://transeval.cals.cornell.edu (should work for CALS and dyson, not sure about other schools)
  2. either youā€™re logged in, or it takes you to https://oap.cals.cornell.edu ā€” either way, get to a login page and enter your applicantID
    a) if youā€™re close enough to your decision date, and you are accepted, it should(?) show ā€œwelcome nameā€ and list ā€œmajor: xxx majorā€
    b) if not, it should show some default text about how it is ā€œlimited to applicants who have received official notification of admission to CALSā€ or something

basically, if iā€™m reading it right, it should let you know if you were accepted before the portal updates with your decision. but, i think it might only work close to the decision date?

It said welcome but Iā€™m applying for CAS, and then I tried again and it said the other limited message. Not sure if itā€™s reliable?

I never received an applicantID  Where do I find that?

I did not apply to either school so it is not applicable to me

you can find it when you login to find your financial aid checklist, then you click on ā€œCampus Communityā€ or ā€œSelf Serviceā€ and hit the ā€œDemographic Infoā€ option to find your ID

However my site is disabled for me again

Me neither but it says welcome? Iā€™m not sure if it means anything. I didnā€™t need to log in or anything it just took me to the page which is weird
